Make sure you have a recent version of Zigbee2MQTT. If you don't see the same interface as below it is likely you need to update your system.

  1. Open your Zigbee2MQTT control panel and click on the OTA tab.

  2. Find the device that you would like to update and click on "Check for new updates".

  3. After a few moments the "Update device firmware" button will appear if an update is available. Proceed to click on it.

  4. Lastly, confirm the update by clicking "OK".

Note: Sometimes Zigbee2MQTT won't properly show the new firmware version so it will look like the update was not successful. You can check the actual device firmware by going to the device in the Z2M web interface and doing the following:

Click on Dev console -> Endpoint: 1 -> cluster: genBasic -> attribute: swBuildId -> read

It should then show you the actual version that is on the switch. As time goes on the interface should eventually update with the new version string.

Note: If certain functions of the switch are not working after update (like scenes), you may want to try the Re-configure button for the device having these symptoms.
