Pairing & Removing
To include (pair) your Gen 1 Dimmer Toggle Switch w/Scenes (NZW31-S), put your hub in inclusion (pairing) mode and tap on the top of the paddle (on) 6x rapidly. The LED should blink a couple of times quickly and then long blink once if successful.
Quick Tap Sequences
The Gen 1 Dimmer Toggle Switch w/Scenes has various settings and parameters you can change at the switch itself via a sequence of taps at the paddle.

Example: If you'd like to change the LED Indicator status on your Gen 1 Dimmer Toggle Switch w/Scenes, you would tap on the top of the paddle (on) part of the paddle ten (10) times.
Enable/Disable Local Protection Mode
To enable or disable Local Protection Mode on your Gen 1 Dimmer Toggle Switch w/Scenes, first, check the firmware version you have. For firmware version 1.03, tap the bottom of the paddle (off) eight (8) times rapidly. For firmware version 1.04, tap the bottom of the paddle (off) eight (8) times rapidly followed by the top of the paddle (on) two (2) times rapidly. This feature is not available on all other firmware versions.
Each time you go through the sequence via paddle taps, it will enable and then disable local protection mode.

Invert Switch
To invert your Gen 1 Dimmer Toggle Switch w/Scenes, tap the bottom of the paddle (off) ten (10) times rapidly. Each time you tap the bottom of the paddle ten times, it will cycle between the way the switch is positioned (ie: inverted or not).
