Scene control, in this context, refers to activating a scene from your light switch via a tap sequence (ie: double-tap, triple-tap, favorites button, etc).

In the below example, we will create a simple scene of turning on movie lights with a double-tap up of the light switch (in this case, we'll be using a White Series 2-1 Switch, but any of our switches that work with Apple will work).

  1. Open your Apple Home App and click on your Inovelli light switch

  2. Click on the gear icon at the bottom right of the screen

  3. Click on, "Show as Single Tile"

  4. On the main screen, click on the switch tile that was created

  5. Scroll to the section that says, "Button 1" and click on, "Add" next to where it says, "Double Press"

  6. Select the lights you want to turn on and click, "Next"

  7. Feel free to rename the action by clicking at the top and then click, "Done"

  8. Your scene should be ready to test -- go ahead and double tap up on the light switch to turn on your movie lights
