Button Combinations
The White Series 2-1 Switch has many different button combinations that indicate what the switch is doing or what settings and parameters are being changed.
Standard Button Combinations are used to check Thread network strength, or factory reset your switch
Quick Tap Sequences is a quick and easy way to change the important parameters (ie: changing from On/Off to Dimmer, Leading to Trailing Edge, etc).
Local Configuration is a more complex way of changing additional parameters outside of the Quick Tap Sequences.

Local Configuration
To access additional parameters outside of the Quick Tap Sequences, you'll want to use Local Configuration.
To see the Local Configuration Table, click here: Local Configuration Table
Local Configuration Logic
Here is the logic to change the parameters locally:
Locate the Parameter you'd like to change on the Local Configuration Table (ex: Change LED Color = 9)
ENTERING LOCAL CONFIGURATION MODE: Hold down the configuration button until the LED Bar turns Yellow and let go
ENTERING THE PARAMETER MENU: Press the configuration button as many times as the parameter you've chosen says to from the Local Configuration Table (ex: Change LED Color is 9, so you'd press the configuration button 9x) - you have now selected the parameter you'd like to edit
NOTE: The LED Bar will blink to notify you of the parameter you're on.
Long Blink = 10's
Short Blinks = 1's
Ex: 13 = 1x Long Blink + 3x Short Blinks
EDITING THE PARAMETER: Tap up/down on the paddle to select the value you'd like the parameter to be - you should see the parameter change in real-time (i.e.: LED Bar Color will change for you to see, LED Bar Intensity will change on the LED Bar for you to see, etc)
SAVING THE PARAMETER VALUE: Hold down on the configuration button until the LED Bar turns Yellow and let go - the LED Bar should then flash Cyan which indicates it was saved successfully
Example: If you'd like to change the color of your White Series 2-1 switch LED Bar you would hold down on the configuration button until the LED Bar turns Yellow and let go. The LED Bar will blink Yellow 1x to indicate it's in Local Configuration Mode. Using the Local Configuration Table, you will see that to access the LED Bar Color, you would tap the configuration button 9x. After you tap the configuration button 9x, the LED Bar will slow blink 9x to indicate it's on the correct parameter. Next, you will tap the paddle up or down to select the LED Bar color you want. Finally, to save the configuration, you will hold down on the configuration button until the LED Bar turns Yellow and let go. It will blink Cyan to confirm.

Trailing Edge Dimming Mode can only be activated if you have a neutral wire present and are not using a, "dumb" switch in a multi-way setup.
Local Configuration Table
Here's how you read this chart:
Look for the parameter you'd like to change
Write down or memorize the number associated with that parameter (ie: 9 for, "LED Indicator Color (When On)")
Look at the Values and determine what you'd like to change the parameter to (i.e.: if you want the dimming speed to take 3 seconds to turn on/off, you'd write down or memorize a value of 3)
Example: Let's say you wanted to change the LED Bar to a color of orange when the load is on. You would see that the #9 is, "LED Indicator Color (When On)". Then the Value column says that Orange is an option and the instructions say to tap up/down the paddle until you find Orange. An example is shown below in the, "Video Demonstration".
#Of Times to press the config Button | Parameter | Description | Values |
1 | Dimming Speed | Refers to how fast or slow the light turns on or off when you change the dim level either remotely or locally (at the switch) such as from 10-20%, 60-80%, etc. | Range: 0-20 Interval: 1 = 0.5 second Max Taps = 21 Tap down on the paddle initially to change to a value of 0, then up/down to change values after 0 - 0s 1 - 0.5s 2 - 1s ... 20-10s |
2 | Ramp Rate (OFF to ON) | ramp rate when the switch goes from off to on | Range: 0-20 Interval: 1 = 0.5 second Max Taps = 21 Tap down on the paddle initially to change to a value of 0, then up/down to change values after 0 - 0s 1 - 0.5s 2 - 1s ... 20-10s |
3 | Ramp Rate (ON to OFF) | ramp rate when the switch goes from on to off | Range: 0-20 Interval: 1 = 0.5 second Max Taps = 21 Tap down on the paddle initially to change to a value of 0, then up/down to change values after 0 - 0s 1 - 0.5s 2 - 1s ... 20-10s |
4 | Minimum Dim Level | Refers to the minimum level the light switch will dim to. | Range: 1-50 Interval: 1 = ~1% Max Taps = 50 Tap up on the paddle initially to start on a low minimum level, then up/down to change values after |
5 | Maximum Dim Level | Refers to the maximum level the light switch will dim to. | Range: 51-99 Interval: 1 = ~1% Max Taps = 49 Tap up on the paddle initially to start on a low maximum level, then up/down to change values after |
6 | Default Level | Refers to the default dim level the switch goes to when turned on at the switch (ie: if you set the default level to 60%, that's the percentage the switch turns on to when you turn it on). | Range: 0-10 0 = Prior State 10 = 100% 1-9 = Intervals of ~11% Max Taps = 11 Tap down to select 0 and up/down to select 1-10 |
7 | State After Power Restored | Refers to the state the switch will return to when power is restored to it (ie: after a power outage). | Range: 0-2 0 = Off 1 = On 2 = Prior State Max Taps = 3 Tap down to select 0 and up/down to select 1-2 |
8 | LED Indicator Color (When Off) | Refers to the LED Bar color when the load is off | Choose from the following colors: Red Orange Green Cyan Blue Violet Pink White Tap up/down to cycle through the colors |
9 | LED Indicator Color (When On) | Refers to the LED Bar color when the load is on | Choose from the following colors: Red Orange Green Cyan Blue Violet Pink White Tap up/down to cycle through the colors |

12 | Load Level Indicator Timeout | Changes the amount of time (in seconds) the RGB Bar shows the Dim Level (ie: if you are actively dimming the light, the LED Bar will show you approximately what level the light is at -- the timeout is the time that indicator shows once you let go of the paddle) | Range: 0-11 0 = Always Off 1-10 = Intervals of 1 second 11 = Always On Max Taps = 12 Tap down on the paddle to change to a value of 0, then up/down to change to other values |
13 | Switch Delay Time | Refers to the delay between when you press the switch and the light turns on. By default, there is a 500ms delay to account for multi-taps (scene control). In other words, the switch does not turn on right away because it's waiting for a potential multi-tap. You can turn this delay off, but you will lose multi-tap control on the paddle (you will still have it on the config/favorites button). | Range: 0-9 Interval: 1 = 100ms Max Taps = 8** Tap down on the paddle to change to a value of 0, then up/down to change to other values **Values of 1 & 2 are not available |
