Checking Your Firmware Version
Checking via Changelogs
If you've never updated your firmware before, you can check the appropriate changelog article of your device to see what version of firmware was installed on your device during production. To check the changelogs, please scroll to the Firmware Table section and click on the product in the, "Name / SKU / Gen" column.
Checking via Your Hub
Please click on the various hubs below to be taken to the instructions for checking the version of your device's firmware.
Checking Manually (Locally)
On the Gen 3 switches, you can check the firmware version directly from the switch itself (NOTE: Requires Firmware Version 2.15+ on the Blue 2-1 - standard on all other switches). To check the firmware version, please follow these directions:
Hold on the Down Button and Tap the Config/Favorites Button 9x
LED Bar will long blink White to show a major version (ie: 1.xx)
LED Bar will long blink Orange to show a minor version (ie: x.1x)
LED Bar will short blink Orange to show a .01 version (ie: x.x1)
Example: Firmware version 2.12, would be 2x long blinks of white, 1x long blink orange, and 2x short blinks of orange as shown below
Firmware Table

Beta Firmware: This firmware is considered unstable and we recommend waiting for production firmware.
Production Firmware: This firmware is considered stable and what we use for production.
